An Indian documentary filmmaker calls for an end to the war between Israel and Palestine GeoTv News

Puber Pen, Web Office: There has been a storm of criticism in various circles about the Israeli-Palestinian war. Cruelwhile, Indian documentary filmmaker Anand Patwardhan called for an “immediate ceasefire.” In a speech at the international Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), he called for an end to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian war. He said in his speech: “The ongoing wars in Palestine, Ukraine and other wars must stop immediately.” This is why all international circles must call for a ceasefire.

“Slogans like ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free’ create understanding,” said documentary filmmaker Patwardhan. Some even call for a one-state solution and the ethnic cleansing of Jews. We must call for a state in which Muslims, Jews, Christians and others live with equal rights in peace and harmony.

He further said: “Our protest must be non-violent. Nonviolence can build a global community. In many parts of the world, Palestinians and Jews are marching with others to demand an immediate ceasefire and a just peace. The whole world is enslaved by the global arms industry. Those who benefit from every battle and every death. We must free the world from this slavery.”
