Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial President of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, condemned the suicide blast on police lines in Peshawar as a barbaric act. He said that if the state wants, there is a determination and a solution to block the path of this monster and uproot it in the form of Banu Qaumi Jirga resolutions.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan said in his statement that protecting the honor, life and property of the citizens is the primary responsibility of the state, but the sad fact is that the state has failed to fulfill this basic responsibility till date. But the saddest thing is that our own state policies are causing this carnage. Over the last four decades, in the name of the state’s strategic interests, the blood market is heating up in the land of the Pakhtuns as part of international proxy wars for the sake of the group’s political and economic interests.
The statement added that the nefarious ambitions and interests of international and regional powers, as well as the struggle for power between democratic and non-democratic forces within our state have made the element of terrorism more suspicious and complicated. Therefore, its remedy and solution is not possible only with half-hearted administrative measures. Unless the state completely changes its security, foreign and domestic policies that have created this serious situation, change in the situation is not possible. At the national level, there are two documents for your state that have been approved by consensus. One is the National Action Plan which was approved by all political parties and institutions in the country and the other is the unanimous resolutions of the Bannu Qaumi Jirga which were approved by the representatives of each Pakhtun school of thought last year.
Dr. Ali recalled that in this regard, the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party organized a three-day National Jirga in Bannu in March 2022, in which representatives of all schools of thought of Pakhtuns residing in Pakistan participated, among other issues. he had deliberated on the problems of politics and terrorism and also presented suggestions in the form of resolutions to solve them.
