This beautiful villa is located in the Spanish province of Salto de Castro, in Zamora, near the border with Portugal, three hours by car from Madrid and Spain. It has been uninhabited for over 30 years and is now being sold for just Rs 2.1 crore.
Foreign media reports It is located on top of a hill in an aerial position above the town with a beautiful view of the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero. The village consists of 44 houses, a hotel, a church, a school, a municipal swimming pool and a barracks building.
The said village was built in the 1950s by a power generation company to provide housing for the families of workers near the dam. However, it became completely vacant in the 1980s.
Speaking to the BBC, Rony Rodrigues, the representative of the company that owns the village, Royal Investments, said that the owner of the village had a dream to build a hotel here, which could not be fulfilled.
It should be noted that earlier an entire island in Scotland was sold for 3 million rupees which spread over 28 hectares.
