Web Desk: The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, was found guilty of contempt of court and fined $9,000 for violating the order not to press charges against witnesses and other people in the case of hiding bribe money.
According to the report of the Reuters news agency, the judge hearing the ongoing case against Donald Trump, Justice Jovan Mirkan, warned when setting the fine that if the offense continues, he will be considered for deportation to prison.
The judge said in a written decision that the fine imposed on Donald Trump is not sufficient but that this court does not have the authority to impose a higher fine.
The ruling said that the accused person is warned that the court will not tolerate willful violation of its legal orders and will also sentence him to prison if deemed necessary in the circumstances.
It should be noted that the court prohibited Donald Trump from indicting witnesses and other people involved in the case, but the former president continued to accuse others.
The court fined Donald Trump $1,000 per statement for nine separate statements he made online and said he was barred from indicting witnesses and others in the case.
The ruling said that the prosecutor had put 10 posts of possible crime before the court, he said that posts were made between April 10 and April 17 and included an article in which it was announced that his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, was trapped.
The court also ordered Trump to remove the allegations from his Truth Social account website and the campaign website.
