Federation and states will spend 3792 billion rupees on development projects, report

Web Desk: In the budget of the current financial year, the federation and the states will jointly spend 3792 billion rupees for development projects.
In this regard, it was mentioned in the ongoing details that compared to the current financial year, the overall national development budget has increased by 1012 billion rupees.
Sources say that the PSDP for the Federation has increased by Rs 550 billion to Rs 1,500 billion, while the annual development plan of the four states has increased by 462 billion to Rs.
In the details, it was mentioned that 764 billion rupees will be spent in Sindh on development projects, while Punjab has set a development budget of 700 billion rupees.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated Rs 351 billion and Balochistan Rs 281 billion for the development budget.
FBR is expected to have a revenue shortfall of Rs 160 billion by the end of this financial year. New revenue measures will be taken for the first time ever.
Therefore, there is a risk of inflation, income tax, capital value tax, sales tax, goods and sales tax services, it is proposed to raise new taxes for FED.
