Washington: NASA and the European Space Agency’s Hubble Space Telescope captured an image of two variable stars in the Orion Nebula, a star-forming region 1,450 light-years from Earth. The brightness of V372 Oranis changes over time. The star V372 Oranis is in the center of the released image, while a small variable star is visible in the upper left. V372 Oranis is a special type of variable star that Orion is known as variable. These young stars are in a turbulent state, which astronomers observe with the help of irregular light from these stars. Orion’s variable stars are often associated with the Orion Nebula, which consists of clouds of gas and dust.
