Karachi experienced an unusual surge in sunshine intensity reminiscent of May, signaling a potential rise in temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius, according to reports from March.

The Meteorological Department has issued forecasts indicating a likelihood of temperature escalation in the city of lights, Karachi, starting from today. The weather prognosis suggests dry and hot conditions prevailing over the next 24 hours.

Meteorological experts anticipate a slight uptick in temperatures across the plains of Sindh from today through Wednesday. In Karachi, mercury levels are expected to soar between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius in various areas.

Across the country, predominantly dry weather prevails, although isolated regions may experience sporadic rainfall.

In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.5 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 38%. Light eastward winds at a speed of 6 km per hour were reported.

Further forecasts from the Meteorological Department indicate a potential rise to 38 degrees Celsius in central and eastern parts of Sindh, underscoring the need for residents to brace themselves for sweltering conditions in the days ahead.
