Actress Meena Kumari’s late stepson Tajdar Amrohi gave a harsh response to Hiramandi actress Sherman Segal.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heera Mundi is being watched on the online platform, becoming the most watched Indian show.

The actress played the role of Alam Zeb in Heera Mandi, while viewers praised the performances of all the other actors, Sherman Segal was targeted for criticism.

According to an Indian media report, Meenakumari’s stepson responded to Sherman Segal calling his performance of Hiramandi inspired by Meena Kumari’s performance in Pakeeza.

Kamal Amrohi’s son Tajdar Amrohi asked if the movie Pakeeza will now be compared with shows like Heera Mandi.

In an interview given to Indian media, he said that there is a difference of heaven and earth between Hiramandi and Pakiza, the two should not be compared.

Tajdar Amrohi added that no one can recreate Pakeezah, neither Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi can be reincarnated, I don’t want to say much, actually Bhansali is a big fan of my father.

He said that 15 years ago Sanjay Leela Bhansali came to Kamalistan studio, he asked about his father, touched the great respect of the ground where Kamal Amrohi used to sit.

Tajdar Amrohi also said that was my last meeting with Bhansali, I believe everything has its own fun, for some people, hiramandi can be better than Pakeezah.
