RANCHI: The CBI has registered an FIR against Jharkhand Assistant Chief minister Hai Manth Soran in a mining scam case.

The Enforcement Directorate has registered a case against Chief Minister Hemant Soran in connection with the case of illegal allotment of mines in Sahibganj district and allegations of land and money fraud.

In this case, the CBI filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Pankaj Mishra, aide to Chief Minister Hemant Soran, in the Jharkhand High Court to investigate the case.
