Newly agreed bread and bread prices set in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A petition filed in the Islamabad High Court has been withdrawn following the fixing of new agreed prices for non-bread in Islamabad.

In urban Islamabad, bread is set at Rs 18 and none at Rs 22. In rural areas, roti is set at Rs 16 and none at Rs 20.

Islamabad High Court Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri heard the case. Lawyer Umra Ejaz Gilani appeared in court on behalf of the Non-Fun Society and said that they have discussed the court order with our district administration.

The representative of the district administration and the government lawyer informed the court about the new prices, the court said that the Islamabad High Court was happy to decide on the new agreed prices.

Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri said that press conferences are being held against us now that we have fallen behind in terms of non-bread prices.

The court decided the case when the application was withdrawn after setting the agreed prices.

It should be remembered that the Islamabad High Court ordered the immediate release of the arrested people from the Non-Bye Society, and also ordered the unsealing of the sealed ovens of the Non-Bye Society.
