PTI, PPP expressed concern over the alarming situation in Azad Kashmir

Islamabad (News Desk) Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have expressed their concern over the terrible clash between the police and citizens during the protest against the call of the Public Action Committee in Azad Kashmir.

In his statement, the spokesperson for Tehreek-e-Insaf said that instead of tension and violence, the government should take steps to ensure that the demands of the people’s rights are implemented, that the people should use the democratic right to protest peacefully as their power, the state should not be accused of horse trading or of the incompetence of the governors affected by Form 47. Rather, public mandate and the rule of law should be made the basis of the country’s system.

Expressing concern over the rapidly deteriorating situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he has said that governments lacking credibility, capacity and public support have become a disaster for the country and the nation.

He said it is a tragedy that the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir considers himself a sane person, because the state and the people are facing each other today strongly condemning the arrests.

He said that the People’s Party completely rejects the government’s policies and demands that the demands of the protesters be accepted Instead of trying to suppress opinions by force, governments should devise solutions to the problems, instead of worsening the situation with lawlessness and violence, that the state government should seriously analyze the real motives of the public protest and adopt a wise course of action.
