In the third T20, England Women’s Cricket Team defeated Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team by 34 runs and won the 3-match series by 3-0.
In the match, the English team scored 176 runs, Dean Waite played an innings of 87 runs, the Pakistan team reached 142 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted overs, Alia Riaz scored 35 runs and Gul Feroza played an innings of 30 runs.
In the third T20I of the series played in Leeds, the England Women’s cricket team batted first and were bowled out for 176 runs in the allotted overs.
Danny Waite scored 87 runs for the home side, scoring 12 fours and a six off 48 balls. The other outstanding batsman was Amy Jones with 26 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Diana Baig took 26 and captain Nida Dar took three wickets for 45 runs.
In reply, Pakistani batsmen Gul Feroza and Sudra Amin gave the team a good start of 60 runs. Sidra Amin scored 26 runs and Gul Feroza scored 30 runs.
Muniba Ali and Sadaf Shams could not stay on the wicket for long either, captain Nida Dar and experienced all-rounder Alia Riaz could not take the team to the target despite their efforts.
The Pakistan team could score 142 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted overs. Alia Riaz remained unbeaten with 35 and skipper Nida Dar with 29 runs.
The England women’s cricket team won the three-match series by three nil.
