Bill Gates, the founder of the American technological company Microsoft and one of the richest people in the world, has said that Saudi Arabia has allocated 500 million dollars for the eradication of polio.

In an interview, Bill Gates said that in the meeting with Prince Mohammed bin Salman he discussed efforts to eradicate polio, and that they agreed on a strong partnership to eradicate polio.

According to Arab media, a memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the King Salman Relief Center and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

A memorandum of cooperation between the parties was signed on the occasion of a special session of the World Economic Forum held in Riyadh, the Saudi capital.
