The Central Crescent Sighting Committee has received testimonies of seeing the Shawwal moon from different parts of the country including Karachi. Calls are received from all over the country directly to the Central Royat Hilal Committee. Evidence of moon sighting has been received from Sarai Alamgir, Sheikhupura Okara. Citizens have also WhatsApped pictures and videos of the moon to the central Royat Hilal Committee. Apart from the Central Crescent Viewing Committee, meetings of the Zonal Committees are also held in the state capitals. After the meeting, the central sighting of the crescent committee will announce whether the moon is visible or not.
