Several highways have been reopened, but deliveries of food items to supermarkets are still suspended in many areas of Sharjah.
As water drainage efforts continue in Sharjah and Ajman, citizens are advised to avoid non-essential travel.
Schools and educational institutions will remain closed today and tomorrow in Dubai and other states, the authorities have instructed the educational institutions to organize distance learning.
On the other hand, the UAE government has denied the rumors about “artificial rain”.
