The World Bank approved a billion dollar loan for Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has approved a billion dollar loan for Pakistan. A billion dollar loan has been approved by the World Bank for the Dasu Hydropower Project. The additional money allowed will be spent on Phase One of the Dasu Hydro project. Dasu Hydro Project will be a game changer for Pakistan. This will generate cheap electricity in Pakistan According to the World Bank, 4320 MW to 5400 MW of electricity will be generated when the project is completed. The estimated power generation in the first phase is 2160 MW.
