UNESCO awarded the Press Freedom Award to Palestinian journalists in Gaza

UNESCO named a Press Freedom Award for Palestinian journalists in Gaza.

The UNESCO director says he strongly supports the courage of journalists in Gaza and their commitment to freedom of expression.

The Committee to Protect Journalists has said that at least 97 journalists have been killed in Gaza so far in attacks by Israel, 92 Palestinian journalists are among the journalists killed in Gaza.

On the other hand, Turkey’s Trade Minister said that trade with Israel will remain suspended until a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
