Cairo talks on cease-fire and release of hostages end inconclusively, Israeli official

Commenting on the negotiations in Cairo, an Israeli official has said that Cairo’s negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages have ended in vain.

According to the Arab media from Tel Aviv, the above Israeli official further stated that the Israeli delegation that participated in the negotiations informed the negotiators of their doubts on the Hamas proposals.

According to the Israeli official, Israel will continue the military operation in other areas of the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, according to the plan.
