Identify officers guilty of negligence in the track and trace system, report presented to the Prime Minister

Web Desk: The report of the inquiry committee was submitted to Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to identify the officials who are guilty of negligence in implementing the tracking and tracing system.
Addressing the meeting held in this regard, Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the country’s economy has been damaged due to poor planning and negligence in the tracking and tracing system.
At the meeting, the investigation committee’s report was presented to the First Minister in order to identify the officers who were guilty of negligence in operating the tracking and tracing system.
According to the report, the main responsibility for this serious error lies with the officers who later work in the same positions, the then FBR chairman was responsible for poor administrative supervision.
The Prime Minister ordered strict departmental action against those guilty of gross negligence, Shahbaz Sharif ordered an immediate review of the license agreement, provisions regarding third party audit and alternative dispute resolution system in the agreement.
Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the performance of the inquiry committee for compiling a comprehensive report The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Cheema, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Jahanzeb Khan, FBR Chairman Malik Amjad Zubair Towana and senior related officials.
