Increase in gastro patients in Karachi, experts advise to take precautionary measures

Due to extreme heat, the number of gastro patients is increasing in Karachi.

Health experts advised the citizens of Karachi to take precautionary measures to stay safe from the heat.

An emergency consultant attached to Jinnah Hospital says that an increase in the number of gastro patients is seen with the arrival of summer, 60 to 70 cases of gastro are reported in the emergency department every day.

He advised citizens to take precautionary measures and said that citizens should avoid outside food and drinks. Hands must be washed before eating, while eating light, balanced food and plenty of water.
