Authorities issued a tsunami warning after a volcano erupted on the island of Sula Wesi in Indonesia.

The authorities have instructed more than 11 thousand people to move to a safe place.

According to news agencies, there were at least 5 eruptions in Rong volcano during 24 hours.

According to Indonesia’s Volcanology Agency, Mount Ruang erupted on Tuesday, followed by four more eruptions a day later.

Officials fear that part of the volcano could fall into the sea and cause a tsunami.

The eruption has sent ash thousands of feet into the air, and tourists and others have been advised to stay at least 6 kilometers away from the volcano.
