Web Desk: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet approved the increase in the privileges and allowances of ministers, advisers and special assistants of the province.
The fifth provincial cabinet meeting was held at Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad chaired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur.
It was decided in the meeting that instead of 70 thousand rupees as monthly rent, 2 lakh rupees will be paid to such ministers, councilors and special assistants who do not belong to Peshawar and live in rented houses.
In this regard, the information advisor Barrister Saif said that the payment of utility bills will also be included in this two lakh rupees.
According to Barrister Dr Seef’s information advisor, this increase was made to ministers due to the increase in house rents, while the fund provided to the deputy commissioners is not confidential but will be provided through the bank, which will is also examined.
In this regard, 1303 million rupees have been allocated to the Deputy Commissioners of the combined areas for 2021-24.
