Plane skids off runway before takeoff in Senegal, 11 passengers injured

A plane skidded off the runway before taking off to the African country of Senegal on Tuesday.

According to a media report from the capital Dakar, according to the Blaise Diagne Airport authorities in West Africa, 11 people have been injured in the incident when the plane skidded off the runway.

The Transair Boeing 737 was carrying 78 passengers and was heading to the neighboring country of Mali.
