Decision to reduce electricity prices, application submitted to Nepra

Web Desk: The federal government has decided to reduce the electricity prices and has submitted the request to Nepra.
In the statement issued by the Ministry of Energy, it was said that compared to March, the bills of April have been reduced from 7 rupees 6 paise to 4 rupees 92 paise per unit.
Similarly, a request to reduce the fuel adjustment for the month of May from Rs 4.92 to Rs 2.94 compared to April has been submitted to Nepra for hearing.
Compared to March, May bills will decrease by Rs 4.12 per unit.
The Federal Minister for Energy and Production Owais Leghari said that the fuel price will be saved and the results will be presented to the people.
