China has expressed hope that Iran will handle the current situation well and will not throw the region into turmoil.
According to the news agency, China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdullahian.
China appreciated the fact that Iran was not targeting regional and neighboring countries.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also spoke with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the phone and said that China wants to work with Saudi Arabia to prevent the escalation of conflicts in the Middle East.
