He praised Saudi Arabia’s initiatives in appointing women to significant positions, noting their effective leadership and the protection of their rights within the kingdom.

Under the reign of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, Saudi women have been empowered, with their prominent role evident in leading fellow women visiting the Haram Sharif, according to Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sadis.

Meanwhile, Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, emphasized the importance of prioritizing the protection of women in Gaza, particularly on International Women’s Day. He underscored March 8 as an opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements while advocating for gender equality and a better future for all.
