Prospective players of the Pakistan team camped in Karachi

Pakistan’s potential team players for the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament have started camp in Karachi.

Head coach Ayaz Mehmood says 35 players reported on the first day of the camp, more players will report by the evening.

The first training session of the players started at 6 am and lasted for three and a half hours, when coach Rihan Butt and Mohammad Saqlain trained the players.

On the other hand, Tournament Organizing Secretary Azlan Shah contacted PHF Secretary Haider Hussain and sent Pakistan team’s practice schedule to PHF.

The Pakistan team will leave for Malaysia on May 2 while the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup will start from May 4.

The Pakistan team will hold its first practice session in Ipoh, Malaysia on May 2 at 9 pm.
