The German airline Lufthansa has suspended flights to Iran and Lebanon, the Italian consulate in Tehran has closed

German airline Lufthansa has announced that flights to Iran and Lebanon will remain suspended until Thursday.

According to Arab media from Berlin, the German airline Lufthansa further says that flights to Tel Aviv, Jordan and the Iraqi city of Erbil will resume from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Italian Embassy in Tehran, the capital of Iran, has said that the consular office is closed for public services from April 14 for an indefinite period.

According to Arab media, the Italian embassy said in its statement that the consular office will continue to provide essential services to Italian citizens.
