The prices of petroleum products have been increased, and the notification has also been issued.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 4 53 paise per litre, after which the new price has been fixed at Rs 293 94 paise per litre.
The price of diesel has been increased by Rs 8 14 paise per litre, and the new price will be Rs 290 38 paise per litre.
Similarly, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 6.69 paise per liter to Rs 193.8 paise per liter and the price of light diesel oil has been increased by Rs 6.54 paise to Rs 174.34 paise per litre.
Petroleum levy on petrol and diesel remains at Rs 60, Rs 60 per litre.
According to the notification, the new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from 12 pm today, the new prices will be for the next 15 days.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the prices of petroleum products have increased in the world market in the last 15 days.
