Vehicles that have been severely damaged by the recent rains in the United Arab Emirates are being prepared to be sold at a very low price. People whose vehicles have been rejected by the authority in question will also be looking for new vehicles, which could lead to a higher market.

Auto industry executives have asked UAE residents to get their pre-purchased vehicles in 6 to 12 months. You are advised to have a thorough inspection of any vehicle prior to purchase and be careful when taking vehicles that have already been purchased.

A 75-year record was broken by the recent rains in the United Arab Emirates. Like many other items, vehicles were severely damaged by the rain in the UAE. Thousands of cars are in poor condition. These vehicles are likely to be taken to the local market for sale.

Cars Twenty Four CEO (Gulf Region) Abhinav Gupta has said that thousands of vehicles have been damaged. There is definitely a difference in severity ie some vehicles have suffered little or significant damage and some vehicles have been completely destroyed.

Abhinav Gupta says that most areas of Sharjah and Ajman have been affected more than parts after Dubai. Many customers have returned. They want to fix their cars or they want to buy a new car. Abhinav Gupta said 20 to 25 percent of the cars were badly damaged and had difficulty driving. Owners of repairable vehicles will wait for things to be fixed.

Most vehicles can return to the market within 6 to 12 months. E-commerce platforms have reported that around five lakh new vehicles were purchased last year. The purchase of such vehicles in the UAE is increasing by 7 to 10 percent annually.

In an interview with Khaleej Times, Abhinav Gupta said that the damaged vehicles can be classified into three categories. In the first place are the vehicles that are completely destroyed. In the second category are the vehicles that can be repaired and in the third category are the nominally damaged vehicles.

In a few days, the UAE market will see an influx of vehicles that were destroyed by the rain. Those who cannot get insurance will want to sell their damaged vehicles.

People have to be very careful when buying cars that are marketed for sale after repairs so that no one drives them away with a junk car. Many parts of such vehicles can suffer extreme wear and tear. Submersion in water can seriously affect the performance of the engine, wiring and airbags etc.

Experts have warned that buying rain damaged vehicles from the open market, classified ads, etc. is not without risk. He says there could be downturns in the market for buying and selling used vehicles.
