Web Desk: The Pakistan Bar Council has announced nationwide protests after police violence and lathicharge on lawyers’ protests in Lahore.
Lawyer leader Ahsan Bhavan announced in a statement that a nationwide strike and protest is called for tomorrow.
He said that tomorrow a lawyer will not appear in the courts across the country, lawyers will hold rallies across the country tomorrow.

The Lahore High Court Bar had announced that it would hold a rally today. However, a large number of police and water cannons were already outside the Lahore High Court.
The rally was being held by the Lahore Bar Association against the civil courts department and terrorism cases registered against lawyers.

The police also used water cannons to disperse the protesters, and the police also arrested the lawyers who took part in the demonstration.
The lawyers moved the barricades outside GPO Chowk and the High Court and pelted stones at the police, resulting in injuries to SP Model Town.
