Road check campaign, how much tax was collected?

The road-checking campaign against non-tax-paying vehicles in Sindh province has yielded significant results, as revealed by the Director General of Excise and Taxation. Between February 19 and March 7, a total of 37,097 vehicles were checked across the province.

During this operation, 3,262 vehicles were seized for non-compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, the campaign led to the collection of approximately Rs 4 crore in taxes.

These efforts underscore the government’s commitment to enforcing tax compliance and ensuring that all vehicles on the roads contribute their fair share to the development of the province.
