The Central Royat Hilal Committee of Pakistan will convene today to sight the moon of Ramadan. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Peshawar on Monday, March 11, corresponding to 29 Sha’ban after the Asr prayer. Similar meetings will also be held by other zone and district committees across the country at the same time. Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, chairman of the Moon sighting committee, will make the final announcement regarding the sighting of the moon.
Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad has urged all the people of Pakistan to make arrangements to sight the moon of Ramadan, hoping that the country will observe fasting for the entire month. It should be noted that the meteorological department has predicted that the moon of the month of Ramadan will be visible on March 11.
