A resident of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh committed suicide a day after the death of his wife in a road accident.
According to the Indian police, the man who committed suicide also left a note where he was supposed to write a message to his wife saying, ‘We will live together and die together.’
According to the Indian media ‘India Today’, Yogesh Kumar, a 36-year-old resident of Uttar Pradesh, ended his life on Tuesday, his 28-year-old wife, Mani Karnika Kumari, a nurse, who was killed a day earlier in the area police station Sirsa He died in a road accident on Way.
According to Indian media, Yogesh Kumar was a teacher and he married Mani Karnika six months ago.
Sursa Station House Officer (SHO) Indresh Kumar Yadav said Mani was on her way to Karnika Primary Health Center where she was employed as a nurse when her scooter collided with an unknown vehicle resulting in Mani’s death on the spot.
According to SHO Yadav, she was identified with the help of Mani Karnika’s identity card and mobile number and informed her husband.
According to Indian media, after receiving information from the police, Yogesh reached the spot and before returning home, he brought his wife’s belongings with him.
Yogesh had locked himself in a room after the accident, when the villagers came to his house to offer condolences, they found Yogesh hanging in one of the rooms of the house.
