By Miles Harper

An extreme case of wanting internet access unfolded in Texas, where three sisters reportedly attempted to stab their mother after she disconnected the WiFi.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared details of the incident on Twitter, which took place on March 23. According to his account, when law enforcement arrived, they discovered an adult woman who had been attacked by her three daughters, aged 14, 15, and 16.

Officials confirmed to the press that the assailants were all female teenagers.

Gonzalez revealed that the girls had “allegedly devised a plan to kill their 39-year-old mother in retaliation for her turning off the WiFi.”

The sheriff detailed the harrowing event, stating, “All three armed themselves with kitchen knives and pursued her through the home and into the street in an effort to stab her. During the ordeal, the mother was also hit with a brick.”

During the chaos, the teenagers’ 70-year-old grandmother attempted to intervene and protect her daughter, resulting in her being knocked down. Fortunately, Gonzalez noted, “no serious injuries were sustained by either the mother or grandmother.”

Following the attack, the sisters were taken into custody and faced charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. They are currently held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.

A local resident remarked to the Fox news station about the frequent police presence at the family’s home, saying, “They’re known for that in this neighborhood. There’s always cops around that house. It’s so crazy. It just shows how unstable that family is, and it’s very sad.”
